Hungry Town Tours Launches Relocation Tours

Most people who live here describe Beaufort, North Carolina as a “lifestyle.” We agree. If you could pick a place to live that you didn’t have to vacation from, it would definitely be Beaufort.

The Beaufort Lifestyle & Living Tour is the ideal tour for first time visitors, long time tourists, people relocating to the Crystal Coast, and couples looking to retire here.

“People who have recently moved to Beaufort have found this tour to be a wonderful orientation. Think of it as Beaufort 101,” stated Betsy Cartier, co-owner of Hungry Town Tours.

Hungry Town Tours offers the perfect bicycle tour to see a unique side of Beaufort. From the pirate, Blackbeard to shipbuilders and historic homes, your local guide will give you an insider’s look at what it’s like to live here. This is an easy bicycle tour for people of all ages.

In addition to our Hidden Beaufort Tour, you’ll receive a welcome kit with information on where to go, what to do, and where to dine in Beaufort. We’ve partnered with the Crystal Coast Tourism Development Authority and the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce to help educate you on everything here at the Crystal Coast with their visitor’s guide and business directory.

“We’ve partnered with these two organizations since they offer a wealth of information on Beaufort and the Crystal Coast,” said Cartier.  “With the tour and the information the participants are given, we hope to help cut down on their learning curve,” she said.

In addition, participants receive lots of literature on the attractions, what to do, and where to go in Beaufort.

See why Coastal Living magazine named Beaufort one of the “20 Best Places to Live on the Coast in 2018.”

“The 5.6-square-mile town is surrounded by nearly a mile of water. It’s maritime heaven here,
whether you boat, want to learn to boat, or just like looking at boats,”
