Hungry Town Tours offers the perfect bicycle tour to see a unique side of Beaufort.  From the pirate, Blackbeard to shipbuilders and historic homes, your local guide will reveal a side of history you won’t get anywhere else.

The Beaufort Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. There are about 285 historic homes in the district; of these, over 150 boasts plaques awarded to home at least 100 years old, dating back to the late 1700s.

This is an easy bicycle tour for people of all ages.

The Hidden Beaufort Tour is the ideal tour for first time visitors, long time tourists that have been coming to Beaufort, people relocating to the Crystal Coast and couples looking to retire here. You’ll get an insider’s perspective on where the locals go to eat and play.

The Hidden Beaufort Tour is limited to a maximum of eight (8) participants, allowing for a more intimate and manageable group that offers you maximum enjoyment.

Tour Details

Days & Times: Daily – 2 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday – 10 a.m.; and Monday, Wednesday & Friday – 4 p.m.

Availability: Year-Round.

Minimum: No minimum. Single tours welcome.

Duration: 1 to 1¼ hours.

Fee: $20 per person, inclusive. Includes local guide, bottle of water, taxes, and bike rental.

Ages: Bike Tours: 15 yrs. old & up (teenagers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and able to ride our adult-size bikes). Younger adults and children can be accommodated. Limited availability. Private tours, at no additional fee, can be arranged for groups or families.
