Hungry Town Tours offers the perfect bicycle tour to see a unique side of Beaufort. From the pirate, Blackbeard to shipbuilders and historic homes, your local guide will give you an insider’s look at what it’s like to live here. This is an easy bicycle tour for people of all ages.

Learn about the Beaufort historic district! It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. There are about 285 historic homes in the district; of these, over 150 boasts plaques awarded to home at least 100 years old, dating back to the late 1700s.

The Beaufort Lifestyle & Living Tour is limited to eight (8) participants, allowing for a more intimate and manageable group that offers you maximum enjoyment. Walking tours available.

Tour Details

Days & Times: Daily – 2 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday – 10 a.m.; and Monday, Wednesday & Friday – 4 p.m.

Availability: Year-Round.

Minimum: 2 person minimum.

Duration: 1 to 1¼ hours.

Fee: $30 per person, inclusive. Includes local guide, taxes, and bicycle. Participants will receive a relocation kit with some great information on Beaufort and the Crystal Coast.

Ages: Bike Tours: 15 yrs. old & up (teenagers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and able to ride our adult-size bikes). Younger adults and children can be accommodated. Limited availability. Private tours, at no additional fee, can be arranged for groups or families.
