Help Beaufort Sparkle with a $100,000 Holiday Display

We Need Your Nomination Today!

Beaufort has a tremendous opportunity, but we need your help! We are asking that you post on Twitter or Instagram what made your experience in Beaufort special. Was it your first time here? Do you come every year? Please post an image of your experience. It’s a great way to support our small town!

Maker’s Mark plans to spread a little extra holiday cheer this year with their “Small Town, Bright Lights” contest. If Beaufort is selected, a team of world-class holiday lighting experts and window display artists will transform the streets into a full winter showcase with brilliant lights, interactive window displays on the main street and a magnificent tree lighting space made for share-worthy moments.

Maker’s Mark wants to know what makes a town remarkable in 2020? Maybe you collectively agreed to cool it with the negative Yelp reviews during the pandemic. Maybe everybody wears a mask. That’s for you to tell Maker’s in order to score a real-life holiday dream scene replete with lights and glittering decorations galore.

A panel of appointed judges will choose the winning town based in part on “Special nature of location (40%); Creativity (35%); and Relevance to theme (25%),”
